Dr. Paula Forgeron
Dr. Paula Forgeron, RN, MN, PhD is a professor in the School of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa. She holds an adjunct appointment in the Department of Anesthesia at Dalhousie University and is an affiliate member of the IWK Health Center’s Centre for Pediatric Pain in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Dr. Forgeron has extensive clinical experience as a staff nurse as well as a clinical nurse specialist. She has practiced in various provinces in Canada and internationally in multiple care areas ranging from neonates to adults.
She has held administrative positions including Director of one of the largest university schools of nursing in the country and Vice Dean, Professional Affairs, Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa. She is an expert advisor on the 90Second Nurse Wellbeing series and would love to discuss how this series supports the wellbeing of nurses.
